Dr. Moore is a nationally known Trauma and Bariatric surgeon

Dr. Ronald Moore received his medical education at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, Kansas. After completion of his general surgery training, he completed his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes in Chicago. In 2000, he began assisting in weight loss surgery and went on to complete training in his special field.

Dr. Moore completed hundreds of procedures in training and to date has completed his well over 4,000 weight loss surgeries. His expertise in bariatric surgery includes gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric banding, endoscopic balloon placement and revisional surgery. Dr. Moore recently was the director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine. Currently, he is a bariatric surgeon and a laparoscopic/robotic specialist in Fort Lauderdale and Plantation Florida. He is a current member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
